Yeah, the last entry was Sept 19th...shaddup.

Not much artwork, but I finished a whole slew of crochet projects, like my husband's Doctor Who scarf that he asked for last March. Now that's it's been all cold and snowy this last month, he's enjoying it standing outside at the bus stop. I did some baby projects for all those babies that popped up since then. A whopping 25 pairs of crocheted socks and slippers for my family for Christmas. About the same amount of t-shirts with transfers of funny sayings on them too.

A really big My Little Pony tree for the Festival of Trees. Hubby and I washed, primped and curled hair on 28 G3 MLPs, made 2 flannel quilts, 2 pillows with the MLP fabric panels, 3 fleece star pillows, 2 fleece blankets, a fleece MLP tree skirt, and the Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane perched on top of this 7.5' white tree. Not to mention that my mom and I spent 6.5 hours decorating the thing and having it sold for $1175 in the silent auction. Some little girl was really spoiled with the child's furniture and all the toys that went with it too.

I also made myself a new long black skirt last month after learning that nothing of the like existed in stores anymore and they all transformed into black pants. Had to make something nice to wear for my sister-in-law's wedding that's coming up next month before Easter. She wants help making her bridesmaid's skirts too and if I don't get some measurements from them soon, they're going to be late.

It's been productive, just not the way you would expect it. :)

It's Here Again

Arrg....it be International Talk Like a Pirate Day again. I wanted to wear my pirate shirt, but I can't find it in my closet. I wonder if my brother still has it when he borrowed some clothes, like he still has my jeans too. (relax guys, they were men's jeans in the first place).

So instead I'm wearing this shirt:

"Warning:

Yay Spamalot!

Yup! Went and saw the play with my hubby and brother-in-law last night and laughed ourselves silly. :) The French taunting was still hilarious and a lot more was put in that wasn't included in the movie, hehe. So if you like Monty Python, it's definitely a play to see.

Now...back to work making more fairy ponies for the fair tomorrow. Lots of summer activities!

Gasp! I'm working on art again!

Yeah, I'm drawing again. I'm working on some MLP Artist Trading Cards. Not too many since I want them to turn out really nice and don't want to be rushed. I might post a series of how they went together when I'm finished, since I think the look will change as they go.

Working a lot

I finally broke down and bought myself a year account. I got tired of clicking on the links to find out what the pictures look like...

Also I've been super busy making lots of stuff for faires. My usual Tootsie Pop animals, my MLP G2 McD ornaments, and a couple new creations. Crocheted flower pins with a twist and mini pony fairies made from the McD G3 ponies. It's been keeping my husband busy though. Since he doesn't know how to crochet, nor does he want to learn, I asked him to make the Tootsie Pop animals and the G2 ornaments. He can put up with the pipecleaner fuzz and glittery fingers. :) Then I get the sore finger tips and ruthlessly poking holes in G3 McD ponies, lol.

I'd post pictures, then you clever watchers would figure out how to make my crafty inventions. Then I wouldn't be able to sell them. :D I have a one day fair this weekend, so we'll see what they do.

Looking forward to the Harry Potter releases, I bought myself Professor McGonagall's hat to finish off my HP costume that I've been tweaking for 3 years. It was a much better price than on eBay, so I'm happy. :)
